Holiday Planning Tip #3: Mood Boards

Mood boards are a fun way to start any project and compiling images on a mood board hardly feels like work. This loose design format allows you to explore different styles and layouts without any limitations. And the best part is that they help keep the revision cycles to a minimum. This is a great design tool that will save you lots of time. You can use popular apps like Pinterest, you can use your free VIP membership here by adding items to your wish list or you can use gift registries, many of them are free.

I created a White Sand Mood board for y'all to give you an idea. I just love neutral tones for any day of the year, including for Holidays. This way I can use my table cloth and napkins year round with just minor adjustments, for example Christmas or Hanukah. This is also why I was so excited to add Christmas Stocking and Tree Skirt to the Any pattern collection, now you can create an entire holiday decor to match your existing color scheme and that won’t make you change up the whole house.

Keep following the blog for more ideas coming soon, and if you have any questions, suggestions or feedback, as always please feel free to reach out at any time. I love hearing from you !
